“I'm human, you're human, let me greet your humanness. Let's be people together for a while.” ~Anne Lamott

About Stacey

This educated, free spirit thrives on coffee, vinyl records, essential oils, connecting with others, and most importantly- inspiration! Truly. I SEEK inspiration, awe, and wonder around me every day because it’s what brings me fully alive and keeps me connected to this amazing world! And I love to help my clients discover what they need to thrive and feel fully alive as well!

So, a little about me…? Some other things that nourish my spirit are music, art, traveling, meditation, getting lost in poetry, but also completely nerding-out when discussing neuropsychology and the beautiful relationship between science and the “mystical.” So, don’t be surprised if any of these works themselves into our sessions together, because I believe there are many beautiful and creative ways to work towards healing.

If there is one thing my life experiences, education, and professional practice have taught me, it’s that there is a universal experience of change all across our lifespan. Sometimes welcomed change, and other times, not. Through this, I have learned the immense value of honoring and holding space for the pain of others when they are facing some of the more difficult changes. Today, I call it “sitting in the suckage.” It’s simply giving oneself permission to grieve, to feel afraid, angry, anxious or sad…and to find peace within those moments.

I believe only when we acknowledge our pain and struggles can we find a path through them.

With me, you won’t face them alone. You will be seen, heard, and find compassion without judgement.

So, I know I’m not the perfect fit for everyone (of course no therapist is) but if my weirdness suits yours, let’s chat

The Credo

I would rather be ashes than dust!
I would rather that my spark should burn out
in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot.
I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom
of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.
The function of man is to live, not to exist.
I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them.
 I shall use my time.

-Jack London
